Coming from relatively different artistic backgrounds, but with many common ideas regarding music, Mugur and Brutus became good friends a few years ago. After being involved in various musical and media related projects, the two guys from Bucharest, Romania, have decided to put their experience and skills together. A few months in the studio were just about enough to bring Konductors to life.

The secret of their work is simple: Brutus's many years of experience in music production and live acts with different bands, combined with Mugur's love for music, but with a special affinity for house music, added to a live band experience.

Although they were not very experienced as Dj's, Konductors couldn't resist the temptation of taking over the dj booth. This happened mostly because they wanted to deliver their tracks, first hand, straight to the public.
After a few Dj. sets in several clubs from Bucharest, it was already time to go live. The need to express themselves through their own sounds pushed things forward.

This is only the first chapter of the Konductors experience. It might be a very interesting journey, so stay tuned.

1. Your mix in a few words
1. This mix is the result of our last year's work in he studio. It is entirely made of our own productions. Some of these tracks will be included on our first release, sometime this year.
 
2. Favorite track from the mix?
2. It's hard to say. Each track has it's own feeling and brings back different emotions and memories. We're trying to be like parents to our own tracks and treat them equaly:)

3. Future plans?
3. We are now geting our first EP ready. We've had some discussions with a well known label from Ibiza. They loved our tracks and now we're ready to singn a deal with them. You will find out more as soon as possible:)
Beside this, we're preparing for a live tour this summer, since we are now part of the Kristal Booking Agency. We hope it will be our year.
 
4. Best gig until now?
4. Well, we have played in many places, mostly in Bucharest, but we have spent more time in the studio lately. Hopefully, we'll have more and more gigs from now on. Still, maybe our best gig until now was at Club Fabrica, last year, at the Secret City Party.

5. What would you choose: Main in Space Ibiza or an after party at DC10?
5. Definitely DC-10. But i guess a good party can take place anywhere, as long as the sound is good, people are nice and the vibe is ok.
