Originally from Montreal, Matt has lived and travelled all over the globe. He has now settled down in London where you can find him playing regularly at clubs such as Ministry of Sound, Pacha, Egg, Whitehouse and more...
Unlike many DJs, Matt doesn't pigeonhole himself into any one particular genre. Instead he creates a distinctly unique sound blending together the best bits of deep house, progressive house and techno that will keep any dance floor moving until the early hours of the morning.
Matt's new party concept Motek which he runs with Ben Coda is now in full swing. They've booked Spektre, Mark Henning and Max Cooper all in the intimate, underground surroundings of the CAMP, London. With many unique venues being sourced and many of techno's most desirable acts being sought after, the next few parties will prove to be a treat for the Motek faithful. Stay tuned!

1. Your mix in a few words
1. I wanted to capture the spirit of dance music within my favourite genre, techno! This music suited to the 'real' clubbing environment in warehouses and underground clubs filled with people there solely for the music. A scene far away from those of VIP sections, bottles of champagne and wannabes.

2. Favourite track from the set
2. It's a tough one as I love every track in this mix, but I'll go with 'Hyperventilation - Xircus' for its uniqueness. For those that don't know, Xircus is a collaborative project between Max Cooper and Jeet.

3. Plans for the near future
3. I have a couple nice gigs next week with Demi from SOS and also one with Fergie. Other than that I am planning the next edition our Motek party, stay tuned!

4. Best Gig recently
4. A choice between my recent show in Montreal or our Motek party with Max Cooper. Both had amazing crowds and were wicked parties!

5. Mixer/Headphones of choice
5. Mixer of choice is either the DJM800 or the XONE92. I am now using the AIAIAI TMA-1 headphones, I love them!
